We've been following the US election and today I said to the boys:
"Today history will be made. The USA will either vote in the first African American President, or the first female Vice President". They've been interested in it all day and we're so happy that Barrack Obama has been elected to President of the USA.

Me too Maria! It was been just amazing to watch history. Evan and Davis (and even Grace in her own way) have been mesmerized by this. All the teachers cannot believe how interested the children have been in this election. Chants of "OBAMA" were heard many times at recess on election day. The teachers kept reminding them not to talk politics in class. One teacher never thought she'd have to say that to a classroom!
