to blog about stuff and now it's all out of order!In May Michael and Nicholas competed at the school track meet. There were 2 other Christian Schools competing. The boys did well. Michael qualified to compete in the district championships in long jump and Nicholas qualified for triple jump. Michael also qualified for the 4x100m relay(an event I LOVED in school).
The day of the Districts came and the sun was of course shining brightly.....the boys were a bit nervous to say the least.
Nicholas placed 6th in the triple jump.
Michael placed 4th in long jump.
His relay team placed 2nd in the District! He was the lead runner for the team, and man alive he was FAST! Unfortunately they slowed down at the third exchange and that cost them the race, but what excitement at the Apple Bowl that day!
St. Joseph School won lots of events that day. We were all cheering the kids on and enjoying the excitement of the day.
